The short version

• This tool gives estimates to help you understand and negotiate travel healthcare contracts. It is not tax, legal, or financial advice.
• Your offers are private by default. Nothing from them is shared unless you explicitly choose “Contribute de-identified figures” when you save.
• If you contribute, only a de-identified data point is shared — never your name, email, agency, recruiter, facility, notes, offer label, or exact address.
• You can remove your contributions or delete your account anytime in Privacy & data settings.

Privacy

What we collect

• Account: your email address, for sign-in.
• Offers you enter: pay, stipends, hours, location, modality, housing, and any notes/labels. These are stored privately, tied to your account, and are never shared.
• Contracts you ask Panya to hold while you wait on a recruiter: the redacted message, what Panya read from it, your answers, and any redacted reply you paste in from your recruiter. Same terms — private, tied to your account, never shared, and deleted when you remove them or your account.
• Negotiations you start: the target you set, the package snapshot it was measured against, the messages Panya wrote for you, and any recruiter reply you paste in, exactly as you pasted it — see the section below.
• If you contribute: a separate, de-identified record — see below.

Pasting a recruiter message to get an estimate

This is the paste box on the home screen, where a contract is analysed for the first time. Panya processes the message on its server, removes common contact details, and sends the redacted text to its AI provider to identify contract terms. Panya does not save the original or redacted message in your account, analytics, or request logs — unless you are signed in and explicitly ask it to hold a contract that is waiting on your recruiter. That one case is described below.

• The AI proposes; it never decides. It reads pay details out of the text. Every number you see is produced by Panya’s own calculator, and you confirm or correct each contract term before it counts as confirmed.
• What “contact details” covers, on this screen: email addresses, phone numbers, links, social handles, and obvious signature blocks are removed before the text is sent. (This automatic removal runs on the analysis paste and on a contract Panya holds for you — not on a reply pasted inside a negotiation. See Pasting a reply inside a negotiation below.) Names — yours, a recruiter’s, an agency’s, or a facility’s — are not reliably detectable without damaging the pay details Panya needs to read, so they may remain in the message. Names are not stored in Panya’s structured offer fields or analytics — there is nowhere in its records to put one. If a name remains in text you submit, it is sent to the AI provider along with the rest of the message, as described below. Please avoid pasting anything you would not want to share.
• What happens at the AI provider: Panya does not store your message. The redacted text is sent to Anthropic to identify contract terms. Under Anthropic’s standard commercial API terms, inputs and outputs are deleted within 30 days — except where they must be kept longer for safety or legal reasons — and commercial API data is not used to train their models by default. Panya has not entered into a separate zero-retention agreement.
• Your analysis is not stored, unless you ask. No account is needed to use Panya, and by default there is no saved draft — closing or reloading the page clears it.
• Waiting on your recruiter is the one exception. When a message is missing something only an agency can answer, Panya offers you a note to send them. If you are signed in, you can ask Panya to hold that contract while you wait, so you can close the page instead of sitting on it. Choosing that stores, privately and tied to your account: the redacted message (contact details already removed), what Panya read from it, and the answers you gave on that screen. If your recruiter writes back and you paste their reply on that waiting screen, that reply is kept too, redacted the same way and on the same terms. (The reply box inside a running negotiation is a different thing and is not redacted — see Pasting a reply inside a negotiation.) Nothing is ever shared, benchmarked, or sent to a recruiter. Remove it from My offers at any time, or delete your account to remove all of them at once. If you do not choose this, nothing is kept.
• What Panya keeps about the request is a content-free record used only to prevent abuse and control cost: a hashed device identifier (from a first-party cookie), a hashed and daily-salted IP address, the message length, token counts, timing, and whether the request succeeded. No message text and no extracted values. It is deleted automatically after 29 days. Panya also measures which steps of the product you reach — that is a separate record, described under How Panya measures the product below.

Pasting a reply inside a negotiation

Once a negotiation is running, Panya offers a box to paste your recruiter’s reply so it can read what changed. This works differently from the screens above, and the difference matters.

• Nothing is removed automatically. The text is sent to Anthropic and stored exactly as you paste it — including any names, phone numbers or signature blocks. The automatic contact-detail removal described further up does not run here. Please take out anything you would not want kept.
• It is kept until you delete it. The reply is stored privately against that negotiation, tied to your account, and is never shared, benchmarked, or sent to a recruiter. Deleting the negotiation or your account removes it.
• Why it is not stripped: the reply is read for what changed against your existing package, and removing text from the middle of it is how a pay figure gets lost along with a phone number. Panya asks you rather than guessing.

How Panya measures the product

To see where Panya helps and where people get stuck, it records which steps you reach — that a contract was analysed, a comparison was viewed, a negotiation was started. This is a record of what you did, never of what your contract says.

Recording that you finished an analysis is not the same as keeping the analysis. The analysis itself is still not stored unless you ask Panya to hold it.

• What it never contains: no pay rate, stipend, or package total; no ZIP, city, or employer; and none of the text you paste. Step names, counts, and yes/no answers — nothing else.
• It includes visits without an account. You do not need to sign in to use Panya, and these steps are recorded either way. Before you have an account they are tied to a random identifier for your browser, not to you.
• If you create an account, the two are joined. Steps you took before signing up become associated with your account, so Panya can see one journey rather than two disconnected halves.
• How long: 12 months, then deleted. Counts and percentages that identify nobody — how many people compared two offers in a month, say — may be kept longer.
• Who else sees it: this measurement is recorded through PostHog, an analytics provider, and is not sold or shared with anyone else. It is the only place it goes.

What “contribute de-identified figures” shares

When you save an offer, Panya asks one question with two answers — “Contribute de-identified figures” or “Don’t contribute” — and then you press Save offer. Neither answer is pre-selected, and the offer saves privately either way. Choosing to contribute creates a separate record built from scratch that contains only:

• Modality and profession, metro area and state (not your ZIP), taxable hourly rate, guaranteed hours per week, stipends, call structure, contract length, and a coarse date (calendar quarter).
• If you entered your own monthly housing cost: metro area and state, monthly housing cost, housing type, and coarse date.
• Whether the figures were typed on the form or read from a message you pasted. Not whether you checked them — Panya does not record that.

The contributed record is pseudonymized, not anonymous: Panya keeps a private internal link between you and it, and that link is the only reason you can remove your contribution later. The link is never exposed, and never shown with your data.

That record never contains your name, email, agency, recruiter, facility, notes, offer label, or exact ZIP/address. Benchmarks built from it are shown only at metro level, and only once enough people have contributed, so no single person is identifiable in a benchmark.

Your controls

In Privacy & data settings:

• Remove my contributions — deletes your de-identified pay/housing data points. Your account and saved offers stay.
• Delete account — removes your account, your saved offers, and all of your de-identified contributions.
• Deleting a single offer is housekeeping — it removes your private copy, but if you chose to contribute, that de-identified data point remains (it's a real, consented market observation). Use “Remove my contributions” to withdraw it.

Prefer to request removal by email? Contact support. You can also do all of the above yourself, without email — delete an offer from its own page, remove contributions from Account, or delete your account entirely.

What we don’t do

• We don't sell your personal information, and we don't give your contact details to agencies or recruiters. No lead-gen.
• We don't provide tax, legal, or financial advice — estimates only.

Terms

Payment and refunds

Negotiation access is a one-time charge of $14.99 for 30 days. It is not a subscription — nothing renews, and you will not be charged again unless you choose to buy it again.

If Panya isn't useful to you, contact us within your 30-day access period and we'll refund your purchase in full. We don't offer partial or prorated refunds.

Contact support to ask. A refund ends your negotiation access; the offers and negotiations you saved stay in your account, and you can still delete them yourself at any time.

General terms

• Panya is a service of Panya Contract Intelligence LLC.
• Estimates are based on the data you enter plus public datasets (state tax tables, GSA per diem, HUD rent, ZIP-to-metro). Actual pay, taxes, and housing costs may differ.
• Provided as-is, without warranty. You are responsible for your own contract decisions.
• We may update these terms; the current version is shown at the top of this page.
