Built by a traveler who got tired of doing this math the hard way.

I’m a working travel radiology technologist. Other people in my family have worked as travelers too, in nursing and interventional radiology.

Why I built Panya

I kept running into the same problem: the weekly package was easy to quote and surprisingly hard to understand.

A bigger number in one city could leave less in my account than a smaller number somewhere else. Taxes, housing, guaranteed hours, call, and one-time payments all changed the answer. Comparing two offers meant pulling information from several places and doing the math myself.

There should be a straightforward way to see that before signing. So I built one.

I did not want another long form full of questions that do not change the answer.

And if the offer fell short, I wanted to know the gap before making the ask.

What it does today

Panya calculates from the offer you confirm, shows you the tax and housing assumptions it used, compares your offers, and recalculates the result when a recruiter changes the terms.

It does not currently quote fair-market rates or label an offer above or below market. It will not invent a market answer just to sound certain.

Independent by design

Panya is not owned, funded, or operated by a staffing agency. It takes no agency money or commissions, and it does not sell traveler leads.

I’m still a working traveler. I work through agencies, and I value good recruiters and good agency relationships. Panya isn’t here to pick a fight with them. It is here to make the contract easier to understand so you can talk with the recruiter with the numbers in front of you.

What traveler contributions may build

One offer can help you make a clearer decision today. When travelers choose to contribute de-identified offer figures, those offers may eventually show patterns no single recruiter headline can. That work is only beginning. Panya will not claim to know the market before the data supports it.

Contributing is optional, and your personal offer stays private either way. Panya does not sell traveler data or leads, and it does not share contribution records with agencies or recruiters. You can remove your contributions in Privacy & data settings.
